TORS. Benign tumor of the base of the tongue

Transoral robotic surgery (TORS) for the removal of a benign tumor of the base of the tongue. A voluminous mass on the left base of the tongue with benign clinical and radiological behaviour was enucleated in and excisional biopsy procedure. Pathological report: oncocytoma. Oral diet next day (no nasogastric feeding tube). Uneventful post-op.
