Transoral robotic surgery (TORS) for the removal of a T2, VPH+ squamous cell carcinoma oropharynx (right base of the tongue). The video shows the standard TORS procedure for the resection of the base of the tongue for malignant disease. In this particular case, with multiple ipsilateral nodes, a functional neck dissection, levels Ib through IV, was also performed in the same surgical session. No tracheostomy. Oral diet (and removal of the nasogastric feeding tube) the third day.
