January 28–29, 2027 | Madrid, Spain
The next major scientific meeting in Head and Neck Cancer in Spain already has a date—and it is one you should mark on your calendar.
On January 28–29, 2027, the FETTCC Scientific Meeting will take place at Hospital Universitario 12 de Octubre, in Madrid. From the Organizing Committee, we are already working to deliver a meeting that aims to be multidisciplinary, forward‑looking, and truly top‑level.
A Landmark Venue for a Landmark Meeting
The meeting will be hosted at Hospital 12 de Octubre, which has just completed its full transformation into the largest and one of the most advanced hospitals in the country. This new campus represents a major leap in clinical care, research infrastructure, and academic collaboration—making it the perfect setting for a high‑impact scientific meeting in head and neck oncology.
What Can You Expect?
This meeting is conceived as a reference forum for all professionals involved in head and neck cancer care and research. Across two intense days, we will address:
- Robotic surgery: the current state of the art and, just as importantly, what lies ahead
- Personalized systemic treatments, including targeted therapies and immunotherapy
- Radiotherapy innovations, with a focus on cutting‑edge techniques such as proton therapy
- The most relevant ongoing clinical trials and research lines
- Multidisciplinary decision‑making and integrated care pathways
Whether your focus is surgical, medical, radiation oncology, or translational research, this meeting aims to bring together all the key advances you need to know.
A Truly Multidisciplinary and International Outlook
Head and neck cancer demands collaboration. This meeting is designed from the outset to reflect that reality, bringing together surgeons, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, pathologists, radiologists, researchers, and allied health professionals.
Although rooted in Spain, the FETTCC Scientific Meeting 2027 is open and relevant to an international audience. The scientific program is being built to attract speakers, participants, and ideas from beyond our borders.
And what better place than Madrid—a vibrant, well‑connected European capital—to host a top‑level scientific meeting accessible from anywhere in the world?
This Is Just the Beginning
This announcement marks the first of a series of posts that will be published over the coming months. We will progressively share:

Our goal is clear: to build a meeting that reflects where head and neck cancer care stands today—and where it is heading tomorrow.
