I am honoured to receive my diploma of membership of the German-Spanish Society of Otolaryngology (SHAORL-SDGHNO). Scientific links between Spain and Germany have a long tradition in ENT. For many years, these exchanges were facilitated, and sometimes limited, by language. Today, that barrier has largely faded, for obvious reasons.
Of course, it is also a good excuse to share knowledge and build connections. And, appropriately enough, I hope to see many of these colleagues in Freiburg in 2028, a city that has also become an important European hub for surgical robotics and Intuitive’s activities.
