TORS an attractive alternative to traditional transoral or transcervical approaches, but the real problem remains. Eagle syndrome is not just a technical problem. It is a diagnostic and conceptual challenge, characterized by highly variable symptoms, poor correlation with imaging findings, and significant anatomical variability.
As a result, even with optimal surgical technique symptom resolution is not always predictable

TORS continues to refine how we operate on Eagle syndrome, but not necessarily who should be operated on. That remains the key unanswered question.
